Overview of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class G450d AMG Line Package
This is a 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class G450d AMG Line Package, first registered in October 2025 (Reiwa 7), offered at USS Tokyo as lot 75215. It is a right hand drive, 4WD, five door station wagon with the 3.0 litre diesel engine and an automatic gearbox, finished in black (colour code 197). The odometer reads 7,216 km, which is approximately 4,484 miles. It is graded 5 overall with an interior grade of A, and the sheet records one owner, bought directly from the private owner, and an official dealer import.
The specification is the real draw. The sheet lists the Manufaktur Programme Plus, the Night package, a Burmester sound system, a sunroof, 20 inch genuine wheels, genuine navigation with TV and a 360 degree camera. Nappa leather seats with diamond stitching and a titanium grey interior complete a very high order sheet. The inspector found only small scratches and small dents.
The Drive Review
The current G-Class is still built around the idea Mercedes-Benz launched in 1979: a ladder frame, solid axles and locking differentials wrapped in a body that looks barely changed. The modern car adds independent front suspension and a cabin that feels closer to an S-Class than to the military original. The result is a vehicle that rides with real composure on the road and still has genuine off road ability when asked.
The G450d uses a 3.0 litre inline six turbodiesel with mild hybrid assistance, paired with a nine speed automatic. Where the G63 is theatrical, the diesel is the relaxed choice. It pulls strongly from low revs, stays quiet at a cruise and offers long range, and the dashboard in the photographs shows an indicated range of 486 km on the day. The steering is slower and more deliberate than a normal SUV, the body is tall and the mass is considerable, so it rewards smooth driving rather than hurried cornering. That upright, solid character is exactly what owners buy it for. Note that the Autoselecta sheet confirms the diesel, 4WD and automatic, but not the power output, which we have not quoted.

Factory Features and Equipment
The sheet's sales points list the AMG Line package, the Manufaktur Programme Plus and the Manufaktur Programme with a titanium grey interior. Also listed are the Night package, Burmester sound system, sunroof, genuine 20 inch wheels, genuine navigation, TV and 360 degree camera. The seats are Nappa leather with diamond stitching, the door lock buttons carry the G logo, and the steering wheel is a Manufaktur leather wrapped two tone design.
The points to note add heated seats in all positions, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a massage (relaxation) function in the front seats, Multibeam LED headlights, heated and cooled cup holders, genuine floor mats, a genuine dash camera and an ETC toll unit. Automatic air conditioning is shown. The equipment box on the sheet could not be read with confidence because every label sits in an identical pre printed oval, so we rely on the written sales points rather than that box. The photographs show black alloy wheels, a rear mounted spare wheel with cover, side steps, ambient lighting, a touchpad controller and the wide dual screen layout.
Japanese Auction Report Translation
This translation was made and checked by Autoselecta. The inspector's report reads: small scratches, small dents. The sales points read: bought directly from the private owner, one owner, AMG Line package; Manufaktur Programme Plus; Manufaktur Programme, titanium grey interior; Night package, Burmester sound, sunroof; genuine 20 inch wheels, genuine navigation, TV, 360 degree camera; Nappa leather seats with diamond stitching; G logo door buttons; Manufaktur leather wrapped two tone steering wheel.
The points to note read: seat heaters (all seats), front seat ventilation, heated steering wheel; front seat relaxation function, Multibeam LED headlights; heated and cooled cup holders, genuine floor mats; genuine dash camera, ETC. A further note says the owner's manual, warranty booklet and spare key will be sent on separately after the sale. The new car service book with warranty is marked as present. The sheet reports no engine, gearbox, oil leak, rust, accident repair or warning light comments, and no inspector remark on odours or smoking.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
Three marks appear on the diagram. At the front, around the front bumper area, there is an A, meaning a scratch. It is written without a size number, so its severity is not given, and it is not certain whether it marks the bumper or the bonnet edge. On the right rear quarter panel there is an A1, a small scratch. On the rear bumper there is another A1, a small scratch. There are no dents, repaint marks, replaced panels, rust or corrosion marked.
The photographs show glossy black paint with no obvious flaws at this resolution, though small scratches would not necessarily be visible. Overall this is close to showroom condition for a used vehicle: a nearly new, usable car with light cosmetic marks only.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A, the top mark. The photographs show clean grey leather front and rear seats with diamond quilting, an intact steering wheel, a spotless dashboard and centre console, and turbine style air vents with blue ambient lighting. Protective plastic is still visible on the centre console in one image. The odometer photograph shows 7,216 km. The sheet does not record smoke, odours, headlining damage or seat wear.
Japanese Auction Grades
Grade 5 is the second highest overall mark and describes a nearly new car with at most very minor flaws. Interior grade A is the best interior rating, meaning very clean with no notable wear. Together they reflect the single owner, low mileage and light cosmetic notes seen here.
Model History
The G-Class (Geländewagen) began in 1979 as a utility vehicle developed with Steyr Puch and has been in continuous production ever since. The W463A generation arrived in 2018 as a ground up redesign that kept the upright shape, then received a refresh for the 2025 model year, which is where this 465 series car sits. The G450d diesel is the more economical choice in the line up, below the AMG models, and carries the same ladder frame, locking differentials and handcrafted reputation as its siblings.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The G-Class is a rare example of a vehicle whose design has been continuous for over four decades, and demand for it has been strong worldwide. This is a 2025 car, so it is a current model and not a classic, but specification matters. Manufaktur interiors, the Night package and an official dealer history with one owner are what set a car apart when it is eventually resold. Right hand drive cars from Japan are also attractive to markets that drive on the left. We do not offer this as an investment and make no promise about future values.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
Check the service book and warranty booklet, which the sheet says will follow after the sale, and confirm what remains of any manufacturer warranty in your own country, since coverage often differs for parallel imports. Ask for software and emissions compatibility advice, because a diesel with its aftertreatment must suit your local fuel and regulations. Inspect the front scratch in person, because its size is not stated. Confirm that the navigation, TV, ETC and Japanese language settings can be changed or are usable where you live. Check the ride height, tyre wear and undersides after shipping.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japanese cars are generally low mileage, carefully maintained and inspected in a clear, graded system. This one has one owner, a recorded service book and a grade 5 mark, which is a combination that is hard to find in many other markets.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
After the auction win, the vehicle is deregistered, prepared for export and shipped. In your own country you then check its import rules, such as age limits, emissions, safety and registration, before it can be used on the road. Contact us before bidding if you need guidance for your destination.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, translated and checked auction sheets, vehicle sourcing and bidding assistance. We also handle export, shipping and import support in your country, with tracking where available and communication throughout.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before auction but remain used vehicles. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide and not a mechanical warranty. This car is nearly new, but any vehicle may still need servicing or attention after purchase. Please note the inspector's remarks: small scratches and small dents, an A mark at the front with no size given and uncertain location, A1 scratches on the right rear quarter panel and rear bumper, and the equipment box on the sheet that could not be read. The owner's manual, warranty booklet and spare key are not with the car at auction and will be sent on separately after the sale, as written on the sheet.
