Overview of the Lamborghini Temerario
This 2026 Lamborghini Temerario is one of the newest supercars to reach a Japanese auction, and it arrives with only 570 km on the odometer, approximately 354 miles. It is a left hand drive, four wheel drive, automatic, two seat coupe finished in purple, with chassis code 7LA-ZC40 and a 4,000 cc petrol and electric hybrid powertrain. First registration is August 2026 (Reiwa 8), it came through the official dealer import route, and it carries auction grade 6 with interior grade A.
The Temerario is Lamborghini's successor to the Huracán, and this example is a very well specified one. The sheet lists forged wheels in shiny black, carbon ceramic brakes with light green calipers, the front lifting system, Matrix beam headlights, a Sonus Faber sound system and a passenger display. The new car service book with warranty booklet is present, and the car has shaken until 25 August 2029. For a buyer who wants the latest Lamborghini V8 without waiting for a delivery slot, a nearly new car with this little use is a rare find.
The Drive Review of the Lamborghini Temerario
The Temerario changes what a junior Lamborghini means. The Huracán used a naturally aspirated V10. The Temerario uses a twin turbo 4.0 litre V8 with a flat plane crank, working with electric motors in a plug in hybrid layout. Lamborghini quotes around 920 metric horsepower combined, and the V8 is designed to rev to roughly 10,000 rpm, which is extraordinary for a turbocharged engine. The character is therefore much closer to a high revving Italian engine than to a typical torque rich turbo unit.
Power goes through an eight speed dual clutch gearbox, with electric assistance helping the car pull away and fill any gaps in the turbo power. The dash photograph shows driving mode graphics labelled Città and Strada, plus hybrid and EV indicators. The car is four wheel drive, which gives it far more usable traction than rear drive supercars of the past, and the sheet shows the front lifting system, which raises the nose over speed bumps and steep ramps. That matters on Japanese roads and in most other countries.
Compared with an older analogue Lamborghini, the Temerario is faster, more complex and more digital. The twin screen layout, steering wheel mounted controls and drive mode selectors all point to a car that is engineered to be driven hard every day, not just admired. We have no road test data for this particular car, so these comments describe the model, not this individual car.
Auction Details
The car is lot 58334 at USS Nagoya & Hokuriku, in the imported car section of the sale, and the auction date in Japan is 9 October 2026. The auction start price is ¥42,000,000. No close sold results are on record for this model, so there is no auction history to compare it with, and we have not set an Autoselecta guide bidding range for this car. Please use the price panel on this page for the current minimum bid and the landed cost calculation for your country.
All bids must be submitted before 9PM UK time the evening before auction.
Vehicle Specifications
Manufacturer: Lamborghini. Model: Temerario. Chassis code: 7LA-ZC40. The frame number is ZHWEC1ZC2TLA01051. First registration is August 2026 (Reiwa 8). Engine capacity is 4,000 cc, and the sheet gives the fuel as petrol and electric. Transmission is automatic and drive is 4WD. Steering is left hand drive. Body is a two door coupe with two seats. The exterior is the original purple and the sheet does not give a colour code. The interior colour is left blank on the sheet, but the photographs show black seats with pale grey or white trim and contrast stitching.
Mileage on the sheet is 570 km, approximately 354 miles. The registration plate is Himeji 395 hi 9. The recycling deposit is ¥14,840. The sheet prints body dimensions of 470 cm length, 199 cm width and 120 cm height. Import type is dealer, meaning an official import.
Factory Features and Equipment
The equipment marks on the sheet are genuine alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, leather seats, navigation and airbags. Air conditioning is marked AAC, automatic climate control. The sales points list Velador forged 20 and 21 inch wheels in shiny black, Verde Chiaro carbon ceramic brake calipers, kick plates in visible carbon fibre, Matrix beam lights, the front lifting system, a centre tunnel box in matt carbon, a Sonus Faber sound system and a passenger display.
The points to note add fully electric heated and ventilated seats, the passenger display, a surround assistance pack, a parking assistance pack, a contrast colour trim item, and a full high assistance pack. The sheet also says the charging cable is in the car. The photographs show a carbon fibre steering wheel with a red centre marker and red toggle controls on the centre console, a digital instrument display and a tall central touchscreen with Japanese language menus. Number of keys, spare key, owner manuals and ETC are not confirmed on the sheet.
Japanese Auction Report Translation
The sheet was translated and checked by Autoselecta. The section title reads imported car Pla corner, and the vehicle history box for use other than private is blank. The model is written as Lamborghini Temerario, the body is 2D, and the grade box is blank. The sheet gives an evaluation score of 6 and an interior supplementary score of A. Inspection (shaken) is valid to 25 August Reiwa 11, which is 2029. The shift is AT, the drive is 4WD, and the odometer reads 570 km.
The exterior colour box shows original purple, and the colour change box contains only an arrow. It most likely means no colour change, but the sheet does not say so. The colour number and interior colour boxes are blank. The new car service book with warranty booklet is circled as present. The import category is dealer, the steering is left, and the seating capacity is two. The import model year, transfer document expiry and serial number boxes are blank.
The points to note include the contrast colour trim line, which is misspelled on the sheet as Conter, and the intended meaning is not certain. The charging cable is in the car. The inspector's report section is blank, so there are no written comments on engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, leaks, warning lights, smell, smoke or underbody condition. We therefore cannot confirm any of those from the sheet, and nothing in the data gives mechanical detail. The spare tyre circle on the diagram is unmarked.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The diagram carries only two marks. There is a letter A on the left side, in the middle of the body around the door and sill area, and a matching A on the right side in the same place. A means a scratch, but no size number (A1, A2 or A3) is written, and the exact panel is not certain, so we cannot say how large either scratch is. Nothing is marked for dents, repairs, replaced panels, rust, corrosion, cracks, stone chips or paint fade.
The photographs show glossy, even purple paint with strong reflections across the bonnet, doors and rear haunches, and no obvious damage in the images we have. Both sides have low door and sill areas that are hard to judge from auction pictures, so request extra photographs of the marked areas if you are considering the car. Overall this is a near new car in collector grade condition for its age, with only light marks recorded.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A, the top mark on the interior scale. The photographs show clean black seats with pale trim, black carpet with contrast piping, carbon fibre trim, and no visible wear on the steering wheel, dashboard or centre console. The instrument display and central screen are both working in the pictures, and the dash shows 340 km of range in the petrol gauge area and 8 km on the electric range. The sheet does not record smoke, odour, seat damage or headlining faults, and the inspector's report is blank.
Japanese Auction Grades
USS style grades run from the top for near new cars down to repaired or poor cars. Grade 6 is a very high mark that indicates a near new, unused style car, and interior grade A is the top interior mark. The grades are an inspector's opinion at auction and not a warranty, and here the grade fits with the 570 km on the odometer.
Model History
Lamborghini revealed the Temerario in 2024 as the replacement for the Huracán, which had sold in large numbers since 2014. The Huracán was Lamborghini's best seller, and the new car moves the brand into a hybrid era with a smaller, high revving V8. The name follows Lamborghini's bullfighting tradition. As a 2026 car, the Temerario is at the very start of its life, and this one carries the chassis code ZC40 on its Japanese registration.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
It is early to call any 2026 car collectible, and nobody should treat this as an investment. What can be said is that the Temerario is the first V8 Lamborghini of its kind, with a flat plane crank, a 10,000 rpm character and a plug in hybrid system, and it replaces a V10 car that many enthusiasts see as the end of an era. Strong demand for new Lamborghinis, long order books and the appeal of a very low mileage, well optioned car all support interest. The spec on this car, with forged wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, the lifting system and a Sonus Faber audio system, is the kind of specification buyers look for. Cars with so few kilometres, and official dealer history, are always harder to find. Future values cannot be guaranteed.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
The Temerario is a very new model, so long term weak points are not yet known, and buyers should focus on the areas where a complex hybrid supercar needs attention. Ask for the software and diagnostic status, because a high voltage system, a dual clutch gearbox and several electronic control units rely on up to date software, and a dealer scan in your own country is worthwhile. Confirm how the hybrid system behaves, including charging, battery charge state and drive modes, and ask what kit comes with the charging cable noted on the sheet and whether it suits the plugs in your market.
Check the front lifting system through a full cycle, because it is a hydraulic or electric system that can fail on any car that has it. The carbon ceramic brakes should be checked for disc wear and, if possible, run through proper bedding, as they are costly to replace. Look at the Matrix beam lights for correct operation, as the sheet lists them as a feature, and check that the many assistance packs and the passenger display work. Because the sheet marks a scratch on each side of the body, look closely at the door and sill area when photographs or inspection allow. Finally, ask how the dealer warranty is treated in your country, as a warranty booklet is present but conditions on export vary.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japan is one of the few places where a two year old style supercar with 570 km and a service book can still be found, and the auction sheet gives a clear independent record. Official dealer import status and the original left hand drive layout suit buyers in many left hand drive markets.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
Once a car is bought, it is deregistered in Japan, prepared for export and shipped to your country, where customs, duty, taxes and compliance work depend on your local rules. Check your own country's import rules, emissions rules and registration process before bidding, particularly for a hybrid with a high voltage battery, which can have shipping requirements.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, a translated and checked auction sheet, vehicle sourcing, bidding assistance, export handling, shipping, import support and arrival help in your country, with vehicle tracking where available and clear communication throughout. We do not promise unrealistic savings, and we aim to be open about each car's condition and cost.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before the sale but they are still used vehicles. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide and not a mechanical warranty. This car is graded 6 with interior A, the inspector's report is blank, and the only marks on the diagram are a scratch on each side of the body with no size given. The colour change box shows only an arrow and the contrast colour trim wording is unclear. Keys, manuals and ETC are not confirmed on the sheet. A high performance hybrid supercar may need servicing, software updates or specialist attention after purchase, so please budget for this and ask us any questions before you bid.
