Overview of the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet
This Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is a near new, left hand drive 992 generation car (chassis 7AA-992SM1) offered at USS HAA Kobe as lot 80137. First registered in April 2025 (Reiwa 7), it has covered just 2,240 km on the sheet odometer, which is approximately 1,392 miles. The auction grade is 5 and the interior grade is A, a strong pairing for a car this young.
The specification is the part that matters. It is painted Ice Grey Metallic, with a two tone Black and Bordeaux red leather interior, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, a front axle lift system, Matrix LED headlights, the Sport Chrono package, titanium sports tailpipes and Power Steering Plus. It is an official dealer import, with the new car service book and warranty booklet marked as present. The auction is on 10 October 2026 (Japan time).
The Drive Review
The Carrera GTS has long been the 911 for drivers who want more edge than a Carrera S without moving to a GT car. It is a rear engined, rear wheel drive layout (the sheet records 2WD) with a 3.6 litre flat six, and the open top Cabriolet adds the chance to hear that engine properly. The titanium sports tailpipes fitted here are aimed squarely at that sound.
The 911's appeal has always been in the way it loads up the rear tyres under power, the precise steering and a feeling of connection that rivals rarely match. Power Steering Plus lightens the effort at parking speeds, while Sport Chrono sharpens throttle and gearbox response in its driving modes. The floor automatic shown on the sheet is operated from the short selector on the centre console, as the interior photograph shows. Compared with a modern turbocharged rival, the 911 feels smaller, more tactile and more mechanical, though a Cabriolet gives up a little rigidity against the Coupe in return for open air.
The optional Ceramic Composite Brakes give very strong, fade free stopping, and the front axle lift is a genuinely useful aid on steep driveways and speed humps, which matters for a low car. The sheet does not state power output, so none is quoted here.

The equipment marks on the sheet are genuine alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, leather, navigation, airbags and automatic air conditioning. The sales points list the Ice Grey Metallic paint, front axle lift system, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, Matrix LED headlights, Sport Chrono stopwatch and digital rev counter, titanium sports tailpipes and Power Steering Plus.
The points to note add illuminated door sill guards in brushed aluminium and black (listed twice on the sheet), the Black and Bordeaux red two tone leather interior, a centre console armrest and headrests with embossed Porsche crest, and 20/21 inch Carrera GTS wheels. The photographs show the digital instrument cluster with a central rev counter and Sport Chrono style display, and a Japanese language power gauge on the right. Japanese Auction Report Translation
The sheet confirms lot number 80137, auction grade 5, interior grade A, 3,600 cc, chassis 7AA-992SM1, first registration April 2025, grade 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, 2WD, shaken to 15 April 2028, odometer 2,240 km, floor automatic, automatic air conditioning, petrol, original grey paint, red family interior, left hand drive and four seats. The sheet is headed as the imported car section.
The new car service book with warranty booklet is marked present. The transfer documents expiry, import model year, load capacity, serial number and colour code boxes are blank.
The inspector's report records two items only: creasing on the seat edges, and small scratches. One further note says the S key, the owner's manual and the warranty booklet will be sent at a later date. The S key may mean a smart key or a spare key, and the sheet does not say which, so treat the keys, manual and booklet as not yet in hand. A dimensions box shows 455 cm long, 187 cm wide and 130 cm high, and a line reading first preference: imported car is partly cut off. The bottom of the sheet is cropped, so anything below the dimensions box could not be read.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The diagram carries a single marking: スリA on the left side, in the middle of the car, in the door and sill area between the wheels. The code A means a scratch, and スリ indicates a rub or scuff, so this is a rub mark scratch. The exact panel (front door, rear of the door or sill) is approximate from the image. The spare tyre symbol on the diagram carries no marks.
There are no dent, repair, replaced panel, rust or paint codes anywhere on the diagram, and the inspector's small scratches comment fits the single rub mark. With exterior grade 5 and an overall grade of 5, this is close to collector grade for a modern car, with only light use marks. The roof, glass, lights and underbody are not commented on, so nothing further is confirmed there.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A. The photographs show the Bordeaux red leather seats and door cards, black carpets and a black steering wheel with the Porsche crest, and the centre console selector and cup holder. The only interior fault on the sheet is creasing on the seat edges, which is typical of the first entries and exits on a nearly new car. A tag hangs from the key on the front seat in the first photograph. The second photograph shows the cluster reading 2,240 km. No smoke, odour or damage to the dashboard or headlining is reported, though no comment on these is made either way.
Japanese Auction Grades
Grade 5 sits near the top of the auction scale and describes a car in very good condition with minimal wear. Interior grade A is the highest interior mark. Together they indicate a car that has seen little use, which matches the 2,240 km on the odometer.
Model History
The 992 generation 911 arrived in 2018 and has been offered in many versions. The GTS tier was introduced to the 992 range in 2021 with a rear wheel drive Carrera GTS and a Cabriolet alongside it. The 2025 update brought a revised Carrera GTS with a 3.6 litre engine, matching the 3,600 cc shown on this sheet. The Cabriolet version is the open top option in the range, with the 7AA-992SM1 code seen here.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The 911 is a car with an unbroken lineage, and the GTS badge has become a sweet spot, matched to sports seats, wide body looks and sharper suspension. A Cabriolet in this specification is less common than a Coupe, and a left hand drive official Japanese import with 2,240 km is a very clean starting point. Ceramic brakes, Sport Chrono and the Bordeaux interior make this a desirable configuration. As with any modern car, values may move either way and this should not be treated as an investment. It is a way to secure a very low mileage 911 with strong specification.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
On the 992 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, test the roof through several full open and close cycles, and look for smooth operation, tidy seals and no water ingress marks. Check the front axle lift at both low and normal speed, and listen for any hydraulic noise. Ceramic brake discs are very durable but extremely costly to replace, so ask for a full brake inspection, although very low mileage should mean little wear. Look at the gearbox shifts on a cold car, and check that all driving modes work. On this car, inspect the left side for the rub mark, check the seat edges and confirm that the keys, manual and warranty booklet reach you as the sheet says they will.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japanese cars are typically low mileage, serviced to the book and inspected by independent auction staff. For a nearly new left hand drive Porsche, auctions give access to cars that may never be advertised abroad, with a clear sheet showing what the inspector found.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
Once the car is won, it is paid for, deregistered in Japan, shipped and cleared through customs in your country. Check your own country's rules on age, emissions, safety standards and registration before bidding, as these vary widely. Autoselecta can advise on each step.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, with auction sheet translation checked by Autoselecta staff, vehicle sourcing, bidding assistance, export handling and shipping. We also offer import support, vehicle tracking where available and arrival support in your country, with clear communication throughout.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before the sale but are still used vehicles. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide, not a mechanical warranty. Even a young performance car may need servicing or maintenance after purchase. Please note the inspector's warnings on this car: creasing on the seat edges, small scratches and a rub scratch on the left side, along with the note that the S key, owner's manual and warranty booklet are to be sent at a later date.
