Overview of the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet
This Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is a 992 generation car, chassis code 7AA-992SM1, first registered in April 2025 and offered at USS HAA Kobe as lot 80022. The sheet records just 2,240 km, which is approximately 1,392 miles, with auction grade 5 and interior grade A. It is a left hand drive dealer import finished in original Ice Grey Metallic over a black and Bordeaux red leather interior, with a black soft top.
The specification is the point of this car. The sales points on the sheet list Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, a front axle lift system, Matrix LED headlights, the Sport Chrono package, titanium sports tailpipes and Power Steering Plus. The service book is marked present. The only faults recorded are wrinkles on the seat edges, small scratches and one scuff mark on the left side. For a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet this young, that is a very short list.
The Drive Review
The GTS has long been the 911 for people who want the most rounded road car in the range. It takes the 3.6 litre rear mounted flat six and the sharper chassis settings and leaves the track focused compromises to the GT cars. The engine pulls hard to the 8,000 rpm mark that the rev counter in the photographs displays, and the character is a mix of mechanical bark and smooth urgency that few rivals match.
The gearbox on this car is the automatic listed on the sheet, which on the 911 is Porsche's PDK dual clutch unit. It shifts quickly, holds gears when asked and makes the car easy in traffic. Steering is the other highlight. Power Steering Plus lightens parking effort, yet the 911 still talks through the rim with a precision that most modern sports cars have lost. The sheet shows 2WD, so power goes to the rear wheels, and the engine over the rear axle gives the traction and the pitch under braking that define the 911 experience.
The cabriolet adds the drama of open air driving. Roof down, the flat six is even more of an event, and the extra structure needed for the open body is well judged on the 992. The ceramic brakes, with their yellow calipers visible behind the wheels, give huge stopping power and tireless fade resistance. The front axle lift system raises the nose over speed bumps and steep driveways, which is a real help in everyday use.

Japanese Auction Report Translation
The sheet has been translated and checked by Autoselecta. The title reads imported car section. The grade is 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, chassis 7AA-992SM1, first registered in April 2025, 3,600 cc, open top, 2WD, floor automatic, automatic climate control, petrol, original grey with the colour change box showing no change, red tone interior. The new car service book with warranty booklet is marked present. The car is a dealer import, left hand drive, with four seats and 2,240 km on the odometer. Several fields are blank: colour code, import model year, transfer document expiry, load capacity and serial number.
The inspector's report records two things only: wrinkles on the seat edges, and small scratches. The diagram adds one scuff mark on the left side. The sheet also states that the spare key, owner's manual and warranty booklet will be sent at a later date, so they are not with the car at auction. The bottom of the sheet is cut off below the dimensions box, and any content there could not be read.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The diagram carries a single marking, labelled スリA with an arrow, on the left side of the car between the front and rear wheels. This is a rub mark or scuff scratch, rated A, the lightest grade. It sits in the door and sill area, though the exact panel cannot be confirmed from the drawing. There are no dents, repair marks, replaced panels, rust, corrosion or glass cracks marked anywhere else.
The small scratches in the inspector's report fit with this. The photographs show clean grey paintwork with no obvious flaws under the garage lighting, and the black soft top looks tidy. The sheet does not describe the roof operation or condition beyond this. Overall this is close to collector grade for a modern Porsche, a nearly new car with only light cosmetic marks.
Interior Condition
The interior is graded A, the best mark available. The photographs show a black and Bordeaux red leather cabin with the Porsche crest on the steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, the compact automatic selector on the centre console and a key with a paper tag on the driver's seat. The only fault recorded is wrinkles on the seat edges, which is normal early wear on leather and not damage. The cluster in the final photograph shows 2,240 km, matching the sheet, with the car in Normal mode. The sheet notes no smell, stains or dashboard issues.
Japanese Auction Grades
Japanese auction grades run from 1 to 5, with 5 reserved for cars in the best condition, and interior grades run from A (best) to D. This car holds grade 5 with interior A, the top of both scales, with only the small marks described above.
Model History
The 992 generation of the 911 arrived around 2019 with a wider body, a fully digital cockpit and the same rear engined layout that has defined the car since 1964. The Carrera GTS name has marked the sweet spot of the range for years, sitting above the standard Carrera and below the GT cars. This 2025 car belongs to the updated 992 range, with the GTS offered as a Coupe, Cabriolet and Targa. The Cabriolet suits anyone who wants the GTS drive with the roof folded away.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The 911 is among the most consistently desired sports cars in the world, and the GTS versions are the ones enthusiasts tend to chase. A near new example with the black and Bordeaux interior, ceramic brakes and the correct equipment is easy to place with buyers in many markets. Left hand drive dealer imports with low mileage and a service book are always in demand, and good ones are harder to source in Japan than they used to be. We cannot predict future values and this is a car to enjoy, not an investment.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
On a 992 GTS Cabriolet, start with the roof. Operate it fully before shipping and check the seals, the rear glass edges and the fit at the header. Ask a Porsche specialist to read the fault memory and check for outstanding software updates, as the 992 relies heavily on electronics. The ceramic brakes are superb but expensive to replace, so check disc surface condition at inspection. Test the front axle lift system through a full cycle, as it is a costly item if it faults. Match the key, the service book and the registration documents carefully, since the spare key, owner's manual and warranty booklet are still to be sent from the dealer.
On this car, look closely at the left side scuff between the wheels and ask for close photographs of the seat edges. Both are minor, but a clear picture avoids surprises on arrival. Because the car is left hand drive, confirm how your country registers and inspects it before you bid.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japanese auction cars are inspected by independent staff and graded on a consistent scale. Dealer imports in near new condition, with a recorded service book, are exactly where the auction system offers the greatest transparency for a buyer overseas.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
After the auction, the car is collected, prepared for export and shipped to your port. Documents are issued for your customs authority. Check your own country's import rules, taxes and compliance requirements before you bid, because they differ widely and affect the final cost.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, a checked translation of the sheet, vehicle sourcing, bidding assistance, export handling, shipping and import support, with tracking where available and communication throughout. We help you with arrival and import steps in your own country. We make no promises of savings; we aim to give you clear information to bid with confidence.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before sale but remain used vehicles. The sheet is an independent condition guide and not a mechanical warranty. A young car like this should need little, but a specialist inspection on arrival is sensible. Please note the inspector's findings: wrinkles on the seat edges, small scratches, and a scuff mark on the left side between the wheels. The spare key, owner's manual and warranty booklet are to be sent later and are not with the car at auction.
