Overview of the Ferrari 812 Superfast
This 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast is offered at USS Nagoya & Hokuriku on 23 October 2026 as lot 58035. It is a left hand drive official dealer car, first registered in November 2017, with chassis code ABA-F152BCE and just 8,110 km on the odometer, approximately 5,039 miles. The auction grade is 5 with interior grade A, and the sheet records optional Rosso Fiorano red paint over a red interior.
The Superfast is the last great front engined V12 Ferrari of its era, and a low mileage example with its service book, warranty booklet, owner's manual and spare key still present is exactly what serious buyers look for. It also carries a front lifter, ETC and navigation, which matter on a car this low and this wide.
The Drive Review: Ferrari 812 Superfast
The heart of the 812 Superfast is its 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12, rated at 800 PS and revving to 8,900 rpm. That is a remarkable figure for a road car with no turbocharger and no electric assistance. Peak torque is 718 Nm, and the delivery is the point: the engine pulls cleanly from low revs and then keeps building towards the red zone, with a sound that has almost vanished from the modern market. Ferrari quotes 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed above 340 km/h, yet the way it gets there feels refined rather than frantic.
Power goes to the rear wheels through a seven speed dual clutch automatic, so the sheet's AT designation is the correct one for this model. Shifts are quick, and the paddles let you manage the car on a good road without any fuss. The steering is electrically assisted and very quick, and the 812 adds rear wheel steering, which shortens the apparent wheelbase at speed. The result is a long bonnet grand tourer that turns in far more tightly than its size suggests. It is wide, which the sheet confirms at 197 cm, and it asks for respect on narrow lanes, but on open roads it is composed, fast and unusually usable.
Auction Details
The car is lot 58035 at USS Nagoya & Hokuriku, with the Japanese auction date given as 23 October 2026. The sheet gives the first registration as November 2017 (Heisei 29). Factory Features and Equipment
The sheet marks genuine alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, leather, navigation and airbags, with automatic air conditioning. The photographs show dark alloy wheels with yellow brake calipers, a carbon fibre steering wheel with a red leather rim, red leather and suede trim and aluminium pedals. The sales points add the variable exhaust valve open and close remote, with a spare, a front lifter, ETC and navigation. The sheet also notes that genuine factory options are fitted but need checking, and asks buyers to verify the options against the option list plate in the images. We cannot confirm the full option list from the data, so ask us to review the plate before bidding.
Japanese Auction Report Translation
The sheet confirms lot 58035, grade 5, interior grade A, a 6500 cc engine, chassis ABA-F152BCE, first registration November 2017, model Ferrari 812 Superfast in grade Superfast, three doors, 2WD, automatic, automatic air conditioning, original red colour with no colour change, petrol, red tone interior, left hand drive and two seats. The sheet title reads Imported car Pla corner. The import category is dealer import. The new car service book with warranty booklet is circled as present. The inspection expiry, colour number and transfer document expiry fields are blank.
The sales points read: official dealer car, left hand drive, genuine factory options fitted but check required, variable exhaust valve remote with a spare, spare key present, warranty booklet and owner's manual present, front lifter fitted, ETC fitted and navigation. The points to note ask buyers to check the options on the option list plate in the images, and record the optional body colour Rosso Fiorano.
The inspector's report contains just two items: creases on the seat edges and small scratches. No engine, transmission, air conditioning, electrical or underbody comments are recorded, and no accident repair is stated on the sheet.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The diagram shows four marks. At the front bumper the notation スリA records a scuff with a scratch, a light cosmetic mark of the kind a low front splitter style nose collects. On the bonnet the notation トビA records stone chips, which are common on a long bonnet and are best judged against the paint depth in person. At the right front, around the front wing area, the sheet shows C1, minor corrosion, though the inspector's exact panel is not certain from the leader line. A1, a small scratch, is marked on the left side, but the leader line ends inside the dashed outline so we cannot say whether it is the roof or the left door.
Each tyre circle carries the figure 8. The sheet does not say what this stands for, and it is most likely tread remaining, but this is not confirmed. The spare circle is blank.
Overall this reads as a usable, very clean collector style car. The exterior grade of 5 and the short list of marks point to light cosmetic wear only, with the C1 at the right front the one item to inspect closely.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A. The photographs show red leather seats with light stitching, red suede panels, a carbon fibre steering wheel with a red rim and a red dash top, all looking fresh and tidy. The only interior comment on the sheet is creases on the seat edges, which fits the normal softening of leather bolsters. The key fob is visible on the driver's seat. The cluster photograph shows the RACE display with a door open message, the car being photographed with a door open at the time, and a large rev counter. No smoke, odour or headlining comments are on the sheet.
Japanese Auction Grades
Auction grade 5 sits at the top of the scale used by Japanese auctions, which indicates a car in very good condition for its age with only light marks. Interior grade A is likewise the best letter. Both are the inspector's opinion on the day, not a mechanical guarantee.
Model History
The 812 Superfast was introduced in 2017 as the successor to the F12berlinetta, with the F152 series chassis code. It took the long running front mid engined V12 grand tourer formula to its peak, with a larger 6.5 litre V12 derived from the F12tdf's engine, electric power steering and Ferrari's rear wheel steering system. It was later joined by the 812 GTS open car and the limited 812 Competizione before production moved on. Ferrari built it as a pure naturally aspirated V12 at a time when the rest of the industry was moving to turbocharging and electrification.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The 812 Superfast is widely regarded as one of the last great naturally aspirated V12 front engined Ferraris, and Ferrari has since moved its flagship model towards hybrid assistance. That makes a manual era sounding, high revving V12 with this level of power genuinely rare. Left hand drive dealer cars with books, keys and a clean history are favoured on the Japanese market, and a car under 10,000 km is much harder to find. Demand is global, which is why auction results sit where they do. We do not guarantee future values and this is a car to enjoy, not an investment.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
The key checks on an 812 Superfast are the dual clutch gearbox, which should shift cleanly at low speed and engage smoothly from rest, and the front lifter, which should raise and lower reliably on every use. Look at the exhaust valve operation, the infotainment and the digital cluster, and ask for the full Ferrari service record, since the sheet confirms the service book is present but not the stamps inside. On the car itself, examine the right front for the C1 corrosion note, the bonnet for stone chip depth, the front bumper scuff and the left side scratch. The wheels and carbon trim also deserve a close look. We recommend asking Autoselecta to check the option list plate in the photographs, since the sheet says genuine options need checking.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japan offers low mileage, well documented supercars with full dealer history that are increasingly hard to find elsewhere, and this one has an official dealer history on the sheet. Buying through an auction sheet also gives you an independent condition record before you commit.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
The process runs from choosing a lot and placing your maximum bid, through winning the car, export from Japan, shipping and finally registration in your own country. Import rules and taxes differ by market, so check your own country's requirements for age, emissions and left hand drive before bidding.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, auction sheet translation checked by our staff, vehicle sourcing, bidding assistance, export handling, shipping and import support, with vehicle tracking where available and communication throughout. Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before sale but remain used vehicles. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide, not a mechanical warranty. The inspector notes creases on the seat edges and small scratches, with a front bumper scuff, bonnet stone chips, minor corrosion at the right front and a small scratch on the left. A high performance V12 Ferrari may need servicing, maintenance or refurbishment after purchase, and the inspection expiry is blank on the sheet, so buyers should budget accordingly.
