Overview of the Mercedes-AMG G63
This is a 2025 Mercedes-AMG G63, chassis code 4AA-465250C, offered at USS Kyushu as lot 83125 in the Import Prime & D Corner section. It is a left hand drive, official dealer import finished in black (colour code 197), first registered in April 2025 (Reiwa 7) and sold by its single owner. The 4.0 litre twin turbocharged V8 drives all four wheels through a nine speed automatic, and the odometer reads just 1,129 km, which is approximately 702 miles.
The auction grade is 6 with an interior grade of A, and the damage diagram carries no marks at all. That is about as clean a Japanese auction sheet as a nearly new G63 can show. Sales points on the sheet include MANUFAKTUR Programme Plus, the AMG Night Package, AMG 21 inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sliding roof and genuine navigation with digital TV and a 360 degree camera. The auction start price is ¥27,000,000. For bidding figures and the current minimum bid, please use the price panel on this page.
The Drive Review of the Mercedes-AMG G63
The G63 is a strange and wonderful thing: a ladder frame, boxy, upright off roader that is also one of the fastest large SUVs money can buy. The 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 produces 577 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque in this generation, and the delivery is huge from low revs. The nine speed 9G-Tronic automatic shifts quickly, and the exhaust, with its side exit tips visible on this car, gives the V8 a deep, slightly theatrical voice that few modern performance cars can match.
The chassis is built around permanent four wheel drive with three locking differentials, which is why a G63 is as capable off road as its looks suggest. On the road it feels tall and solid rather than sporty. Steering is more relaxed than in an AMG saloon, and the weight is always present, but the adaptive damping and the sheer torque make it quick and surprisingly composed. Compared with a modern crossover, it feels hand built and defiantly square, and that character is the appeal.
This car's specification suits the character well. The black paint, black 21 inch AMG wheels with red brake calipers and the Night Package trim give it a menacing look, while the light quilted leather cabin keeps it luxurious.

Factory Features and Equipment
The sheet lists MANUFAKTUR Programme Plus, the AMG Night Package, a body coloured spare wheel ring, AMG 21 inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sliding roof, and genuine navigation with digital TV and a 360 degree camera. Automatic air conditioning (AAC) is marked. Seat heaters and seat ventilation are noted under the points to note. The equipment box on the sheet shows every label with the same printed oval and no hand drawn marks, so we do not record any further items from that box as confirmed.
The photographs show a wide twin screen cockpit, an AMG steering wheel with touch controls, multi colour ambient lighting, turbine style air vents, a centre touchpad and quilted leather seats. The new car service book with warranty booklet is marked present.
Japanese Auction Report Translation
The inspector's only written comment is that the seats have small creases (シート小シワ). No other fault, warning or mechanical comment is recorded. The sheet marks the car as one owner, bought directly from the private owner (ユーザー買取車), with the new car service book and warranty booklet present.
Under the points to note, the sheet records seat heaters and ventilation, and says the car is partly wrapped (一部ラッピング有). It does not say which areas carry the film. It also says the owner's manual, warranty booklet and spare key will be sent on later (後送), so they are not with the car at the sale and the spare key is not confirmed as being in hand. The sheet translation and checks were carried out by Autoselecta.
Parts of the sheet could not be read with confidence. The transfer documents validity box and the imported vehicle year box are blank, and the first choice line at the bottom is partly cut off, though Prime appears circled.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The damage diagram has no marks. There are no scratch, dent, repair, rust, corrosion or replaced panel codes anywhere on the body, and the spare tyre circle is empty. The photographs agree with that: the black paint is deep and glossy on the bonnet, doors, roof and rear, and the panel gaps look even.
The one caveat is the partial wrap. The sheet does not say where the film is applied, and a wrap can hide or protect the paint beneath, so ask us for any extra detail available before bidding. Overall, this is collector grade condition for a very young car, as close to new as an auction G63 gets.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A. The only inspector note is small creases in the seats, which the light quilted leather in the photographs shows as normal for a car that has been sat in. The dashboard, screens, steering wheel and centre console look clean and unmarked, and the cabin photograph shows the key in a blue protective case on the seat. The instrument cluster photograph shows a Japanese message screen over the dials, partly blurred, and the odometer reading on the sheet is 1,129 km. Smoke, odour, headlining and carpet condition are not mentioned on the sheet.
Japanese Auction Grades
Grade 6 is one of the highest scores a Japanese auction gives, usually reserved for nearly new cars with no repair history. Interior grade A is the top interior rating. Together with a blank damage diagram, they describe a car in virtually showroom condition for its age.
Model History
The G-Class began life in 1979 as a military and utility vehicle developed with Steyr Puch in Graz, Austria, and it has been built there ever since. The AMG versions arrived with the G55 and G63 and have defined the high performance end of the range. The current generation was introduced in 2018 with a new independent front suspension and a more modern cabin, while keeping the unmistakable upright shape. The 2025 G63 carries the refreshed interior and the 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 that has powered AMG's biggest models for years.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The G63 has an unusual mix of heritage, hand assembly, a hugely characterful V8 and a design that has barely changed in decades. Demand is global, and sought specifications such as black paint, the Night Package, MANUFAKTUR options and low mileage tend to attract strong interest. Left hand drive dealer imports with one owner histories are also appealing to buyers in left hand drive markets. Nothing here is a guarantee of future value, and this car should be bought because you want to drive it. Cars this young and this clean are also difficult to find outside the main dealer networks, which is part of the appeal of sourcing one in Japan.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
On any G63, start with the tyres and brakes. The weight and power are hard on 21 inch tyres and on the front brakes, so check wear and ask for photographs of both. On this car, the first priority is the wrap, so ask where the film sits and what paint is beneath it. The seat creases are minor but worth viewing in photographs. Fuel consumption on the 4.0 litre V8 is high, so budget for it.
For a car this young, also confirm the manufacturer warranty position in your own country, as a Japanese dealer warranty may not transfer. Check that the navigation and digital TV functions operate in your market, and that MBUX language and map settings can be changed for your location. Finally, as the manual and spare key are to follow, make sure the key arrangements are settled before shipping.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japan offers low mileage, one owner cars with full dealer histories and honest inspection sheets. This G63 has just 1,129 km, a grade 6 score and a clean diagram, a combination that is difficult to find elsewhere at this age.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
After the auction, the car is collected, the export paperwork is prepared and the vehicle is shipped. Import rules differ from country to country, so check the emissions, safety, registration and left hand drive requirements of your own country before bidding. This car is not 25 years old, so the United States rule for older vehicles does not apply.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, translated and checked auction sheets, vehicle sourcing, bidding assistance, export handling, shipping, import support, tracking where available and clear communication from first enquiry to arrival in your country.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before sale but are still used vehicles. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide, not a mechanical warranty. This G63 shows grade 6, interior A, and no diagram marks, but the inspector did record small seat creases, the sheet says the car is partly wrapped, and the owner's manual, warranty booklet and spare key are to be sent on later. Even a very low mileage performance SUV may need servicing or checks after purchase and shipping, so please budget accordingly.
