Overview of the Nissan GT-R NISMO Special Edition
This is a 2024 Nissan GT-R NISMO Special Edition, chassis code 4BA-R35, offered at USS Nagoya & Hokuriku as lot 35152 on 9 October 2026 (Japan date). First registered in April 2024, it shows just 295 km on the odometer, approximately 183 miles. It is finished in original grey, colour code KCE, with the black carbon bonnet, carbon rear wing, red pinstriping and black and red wheels over yellow brakes that mark the Special Edition out. It carries an auction grade of 6 and an interior grade of A, and the damage diagram is completely blank.
For anyone searching for a nearly new Nissan GT-R NISMO from Japan, a one owner, non smoking car with delivery mileage is about as clean a starting point as the R35 market offers. The sheet shows a 3,800 cc twin turbo petrol V6, four wheel drive and a floor automatic gearbox.
The Drive Review
The R35 GT-R has never been a delicate car. It is a heavy, brutally quick coupe that uses a rear mounted dual clutch transaxle, a front mounted twin turbo V6 and an intelligent four wheel drive system to make enormous speed feel almost ordinary. The NISMO version sharpens that formula with stiffer, more focused chassis tuning, extensive carbon bodywork for aerodynamic stability and a higher output version of the VR38DETT engine than the standard car.
Expect a hard, mechanical sort of character. The engine is a hand assembled unit, with a thick wave of torque from low revs and a hard pull towards the red zone of the tachometer, which in this car is marked at around 7,000 rpm and above. The gearbox is fast and decisive rather than silky at parking speeds, and you hear the machinery working. Steering is quick and the grip from the four driven wheels is huge, so the car rewards commitment rather than delicacy. Against a modern electric or hybrid supercar it feels analogue in its noise and its mechanical fuss, yet it is far easier to drive quickly than its numbers suggest. A Special Edition car with this spec is what enthusiasts want when they say they want the ultimate R35.

Factory Features and Equipment
The sheet marks genuine alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, TV, navigation and airbags, plus automatic air conditioning. The sales points add a BOSE sound system. The photographs show the NISMO suede style steering wheel with red top marker and red stitching, a suede style dashboard, carbon trim around the shifter, a navigation screen, the carbon bonnet, a large carbon rear wing, titanium blue tinted exhaust tips, yellow brake calipers and Dunlop tyres on black wheels with red rim lines. The sheet also records a radar detector, front and rear dash cameras and glass coating on the paintwork. These last items are owner additions rather than factory equipment.
Japanese Auction Report Translation
The auction sheet carries the heading Golden Corner. Its main details read as follows: first registration April 2024, Nissan GT-R, grade GT-R NISMO Special Edition, chassis 4BA-R35, 3,800 cc, coupe, 4WD, auction grade 6, interior grade A, shaken to 18 April 2027, odometer 295 km, floor automatic, automatic air conditioning, original grey, colour code KCE, petrol.
The new car service book with warranty is marked as present. Sales points translate as: non smoking car, trade in from a private owner, one owner car and BOSE sound system. Points to note translate as: glass coating applied to the paintwork, radar detector, front and rear dash cameras. A final line lists the owner's manual, warranty book, spare smart key and key tag with the word 後日, meaning at a later date. The abbreviations for the manual and warranty book are our reading and it is not clear whether 後日 covers every item or only the key tag, so the manual, warranty book and spare key should be treated as not confirmed until checked with the auction house.
The inspector's report area is blank. No faults, warnings, repairs, modifications or mechanical observations are written on the sheet.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The vehicle diagram has no marks at all. That means no scratches, dents, repair marks, rust, corrosion, replaced panels or paint issues are recorded by the inspector. In the photographs the grey paint looks clean and even, the carbon bonnet and roof panel are in good order, and the wing, bumpers and side skirts show no obvious damage. The photographs are auction yard images, so a close inspection on arrival is still sensible. Overall this is close to collector grade, being a delivery mileage car with a clean sheet, although it is still a used car with a Japanese registration and auction history.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A, the highest letter on the scale. The photographs show the cabin with protective plastic still over the seats and the floor covered with paper, which fits the 295 km reading. The suede style wheel, dashboard top, navigation screen, shifter surround and switchgear all appear clean. The instrument cluster photograph shows 295 km on the display, a door ajar message in Japanese on the multi display, and an orange tyre pressure warning symbol plus a red warning light lit. These may relate to the door being open and the ignition being on in the auction yard, but the sheet does not explain them and they are not confirmed as faults. The sheet records no smoke or odour, and it lists the car as non smoking.
Japanese Auction Grades
Auction grade 6 is a high grade for a nearly new car with very little or no wear, no repairs and a clean body, and interior grade A is the best interior letter. The grades come from the auction inspector and are a condition guide rather than a mechanical warranty.
Model History
The R35 GT-R arrived in Japan in late 2007 as a clean break from the earlier Skyline GT-R line, with a 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 and a rear mounted dual clutch transaxle driving all four wheels. It has been refined continuously for well over a decade. The NISMO version was introduced as the track focused halo model, with extra carbon bodywork, a stiffer body and more power. The Special Edition adds further changes aimed at the keenest drivers, and the 2024 model year is among the last chapters of the R35 story.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The R35 NISMO is the culmination of a nameplate with a huge following. Production of the latest cars has been limited and demand has outstripped supply, while the end of the R35 era means these late cars are widely seen as the final expression of the engine and chassis. A manual gearbox is not offered, but the hand built engine, the carbon aero, the NISMO engineering and the Japanese domestic status make a low mileage example highly sought after around the world. We cannot promise future values and this should not be treated as an investment. Good late cars are becoming harder to source from Japan, and one with delivery mileage is rare.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
On any R35, ask for evidence of servicing, especially transmission and transfer case fluid changes, as these are specialist items. Check the tyres, brakes and wheels, since the car is heavy and wears consumables quickly. Inspect the carbon panels for stone chips and lacquer condition. Confirm every warning light on arrival, particularly the tyre pressure symbol seen in the photograph, and ask about the warranty and manuals. Check the import rules in your own country, including emissions, homologation and age requirements, before bidding.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japan keeps its cars indoors, serviced to the book and rarely driven hard, and the auction sheet gives an independent grade. A one owner, 295 km Nissan GT-R NISMO Special Edition is a rare find even in Japan.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before sale but are still used vehicles. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide, not a mechanical warranty. Even a delivery mileage performance car may need servicing or checks after purchase. Please note in particular that the inspector's report is blank, that the manual, warranty book, spare smart key and key tag are marked 後日 and are not confirmed as present, and that the tyre pressure and other warning lights shown in the cluster photograph are unexplained on the sheet.
