Overview of the Nissan GT-R Track Edition Engineered by NISMO
This is a May 2024 Nissan GT-R Track Edition engineered by NISMO, chassis code 4BA-R35, finished in black (colour code GAG) and offered at USS Yokohama as lot 20021 on 13 October 2026. It shows just 3,710 km on the sheet, approximately 2,305 miles, carries auction grade 5 with an interior grade of A, and has had one owner from new. The 3,800 cc twin turbocharged V6, automatic transmission and four wheel drive make it the full R35 experience, and the Track Edition adds the carbon backed RECARO bucket seats and RAYS 20 inch wheels that set it apart from the standard car.
The auction sheet records only three small A1 scratches and a partly scuffed seat. For a Nissan GT-R Track Edition this young, with so few kilometres, that is a very clean report. The photographs show a right hand drive car with black wheels, orange brake calipers and four titanium tinted exhaust tips.
The Drive Review
The R35 GT-R has always been about what it does to the clock rather than how it sounds. The VR38DETT 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 is assembled by hand in Nissan's Yokohama engine plant, and it delivers its power with a thick, relentless surge from low revs. The six speed dual clutch transaxle sends drive to all four wheels through Nissan's ATTESA E-TS system, which is why a GT-R can put its power down in conditions where a rear wheel drive rival would be fighting for grip. Launches are almost undramatic. The car simply goes.
The Track Edition engineered by NISMO is the sharpest way to take that formula without moving to the full Nismo. It uses the lighter, more focused hardware Nissan developed with its motorsport arm, including the RECARO seats with carbon shells and forged RAYS wheels. Expect a firmer, busier ride than a Premium car and plenty of mechanical noise from the transmission at low speed. That is part of the character. The paddle shifters let you take control, and the steering is weighty and precise. It feels like a big, heavy car that has been taught to hide its size, and it still feels very different from the lighter, quieter electrified performance cars of today.

Japanese Auction Report Translation
The sheet is titled domestic regular corner, with the first preference marked as domestic regular. It confirms lot number 20021, first registration May 2024, grade Track Edition engineered by NISMO, chassis 4BA-R35, 3,800 cc, coupe, 4WD, automatic, automatic air conditioning, petrol and four seats. Auction grade is 5, interior grade A, and the odometer reads 3,710 km.
The new car maintenance book with warranty booklet is marked as present. The owner's manual, warranty booklet, spare key and locking wheel nut are each marked 後送, meaning they are being sent separately afterwards, so they are not with the car at the auction. Buyers should treat these as items to be received later, not as items in hand.
The only inspector comment is シート一部スレ, meaning seat partly scuffed. The sheet does not say which seat. No engine, gearbox, oil, coolant, air conditioning, electrical, suspension, brake, exhaust or underbody faults are recorded, and no accident repair, replaced panel, rust or modification is noted. The member number at the foot of the sheet is cut off and cannot be read.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The diagram shows three marks, all A1, which means a small scratch. The first is on the front bumper, written A1スリA. We read the スリA part as a rub scratch, though we are not certain of that reading. The second is on the left side of the car, around the middle in the door area, and the third is on the right side in the same area. The drawing does not make clear whether these fall on the front door, the rear of the door or the sill, so we cannot name the panel with certainty.
There are no dents, repair marks, replaced panels, rust, corrosion, cracks or paint faults on the diagram. In plain terms this is a very clean body, consistent with an exterior grade of 5. The photographs show deep black paint in the auction hall lighting with no obvious damage, although a small A1 scratch would be hard to see in photographs. Overall this sits close to collector grade for a car of this age, with small marks that a detailer could likely improve. The paintwork should still be inspected on arrival.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A. The inspector notes the seat as partly scuffed, and that is the only interior comment. Check the entry bolster, as that is where bucket seats such as these tend to show wear first. The photographs show a tidy dashboard, clean stitching and a carbon trimmed console, with plastic protective covers still on the seats and floor. The rear seats look clean in black leather, with a BOSE speaker panel and cup holder visible. Smell, headlining and the condition of the carpets are not covered by any comment on the sheet.
Japanese Auction Grades
A grade 5 is very high on the Japanese auction scale, normally reserved for cars that are near new with at most the lightest marks. An interior grade of A is the top of the interior scale. Both are consistent with the small scuff and three small scratches recorded here.
Model History
The R35 GT-R arrived in Japan in late 2007 as the successor to the Skyline GT-R line, though it dropped the Skyline name and moved to a larger, wider, more technological platform. It combined a rear mounted transaxle, all wheel drive and a twin turbo V6, and it set fast times at the Nürburgring that embarrassed far more expensive cars. Over its life Nissan has steadily increased power, sharpened the chassis and refined the interior. The Track Edition engineered by NISMO brought some of the Nismo model's hardware to a car with more everyday civility, and 2024 cars carry the most developed version of the original design.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The R35 is a car that is hard to replace. It is a hand assembled engine, a mechanical all wheel drive system and a clear sense of occasion, all built by a manufacturer that has shown no sign of making something quite like it again. Its nickname, Godzilla, was inherited from the Skyline generations and the R35 has kept it. A low mileage, one owner, domestic market car in a late model year with Nismo engineered equipment is exactly what collectors and serious enthusiasts are now hunting. Good examples from Japan are growing harder to find, and demand is worldwide. We make no promise about future values, and this should be bought to be driven and enjoyed.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
The R35's dual clutch gearbox is the first area to check. Listen for rattles and clunks at low speed, hesitation on take off and a smooth shift in manual mode, and ask whether the car has been launched often. Look for a full service record, which the maintenance book should provide, and for evidence of correct fluid changes in the gearbox and transfer case. The ignition coils are a known service item on the VR38DETT. With just 3,710 km, tyre age may matter more than tread depth, so check the date codes. Brake disc condition and the cost of the carbon ceramic or steel brake service are worth considering. On this car specifically, look at the seat scuff on the sheet and the three small A1 scratches, and make sure the manual, warranty booklet, spare key and locking wheel nut that are being sent afterwards are all received.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japanese domestic cars are known for careful ownership, regular servicing and honest auction inspections. A car like this, with one owner, grade 5 paintwork and very low kilometres, is the sort of example that is difficult to find in many other markets. Check your own country's import, emissions and registration rules before bidding.
Ultimate Guide For Japanese Imports
Buying from a Japanese auction means reading the sheet, setting a maximum bid, winning the car, paying, arranging export and then shipping and clearing it at the other end. The details vary by destination, so ask us what applies in your country and we will explain the steps.
Why Import Through Autoselecta
Autoselecta gives you direct access to Japanese auctions, with auction sheets translated and checked by Autoselecta, so that you can see every point the inspector made. We help with sourcing, bidding, export handling, shipping and import support in your country, and we keep you informed throughout, including vehicle tracking where available.

Auction Caution
Auction cars are inspected before sale but they are still used vehicles. An auction sheet is an independent condition guide, not a mechanical warranty. Even a young performance car like this can need servicing, maintenance or fresh tyres after purchase. Note the inspector's points here: the seat is partly scuffed, there are small A1 scratches on the front bumper and both sides, and the manual, warranty booklet, spare key and locking wheel nut are marked as being sent afterwards. Please ask us anything you are unsure about before you bid.
