Overview of the Nissan GT-R Nismo Special Edition
This Nissan GT-R Nismo Special Edition is a one owner R35 first registered in March 2025 and offered at USS Yokohama as lot 30279. It is finished in Stealth Grey (colour code KCE), carries chassis code 4BA-R35, and shows just 2,029 km on the odometer, approximately 1,261 miles. The auction grade is 6 and the interior grade is A.
The Nismo Special Edition is the sharpest road going version of the R35, and a car with this little use is rare. Grey bodywork with a black carbon bonnet, a large rear wing, red accent lines and black wheels with yellow calipers make it unmistakable in the photographs. It sells on Japan's Domestic Prime Corner, the auction's section for domestic cars. Because it is a late car with a clean sheet, it is aimed at buyers in any export market who want the final form of a modern icon.
The Drive Review
The R35 GT-R has always been about speed that feels slightly unreasonable. The Nismo takes the 3.8 litre twin turbo V6 (VR38DETT), which is hand built, and tunes it to 600 PS. Power goes through a rear mounted dual clutch automatic and a four wheel drive system that sends torque to the front axle when the rear tyres need help. The sheet records the drive as 4WD and the shift as floor automatic.
On the road the character is mechanical and heavy handed in the best way. There is a whoosh of turbo boost, a hard shove from low revs and a gearbox that fires through ratios with a clunk and whine you will not find in a modern car with a smoother gearbox. The Nismo adds sharper steering response, stiffer body control and extra aerodynamic downforce from the carbon parts, so it feels tied to the road at speeds that would unsettle most rivals. It is not a delicate sports car. It is a large, immensely quick coupe that rewards confidence and commitment, and the cabin is firmer and louder than a standard GT-R.
The sheet lists NISMO sports resetting as a sales point. The inspector's report is blank, so what that covers is not stated and cannot be confirmed from the photographs.

Vehicle Specifications
The sheet gives a first registration of Reiwa 7, March (March 2025). The model is the Nissan GT-R in Nismo Special Edition grade, a coupe with chassis code 4BA-R35 and frame number R35-170816. Engine capacity is 3,800 cc and the fuel is petrol. Transmission is a floor automatic and the drive is 4WD. The sheet states seating for four. The odometer reads 2,029 km (about 1,261 miles). The exterior is original grey with no colour change, code KCE, sold as Stealth Grey. The body dimensions printed on the sheet are length 470 cm, width 189 cm and height 137 cm. The vehicle inspection (shaken) runs until 26 March 2028. The recycling deposit is ¥10,180.
The steering side is not marked on the sheet, although the interior photograph shows a right hand drive dashboard. The interior colour box is blank, and the photographs show a black cabin with red stitching.
Factory Features and Equipment
The sheet marks genuine alloy wheels, power steering, power windows, TV, navigation and airbags, plus automatic air conditioning. Its sales points list genuine navigation and TV with a back camera (printed as Bカエラ, most likely a misprint of Bカメラ, so the camera is not certain), privacy glass, Stealth Grey paint, SRS curtain airbags, increased antifreeze concentration, a dash camera (drive recorder) and NISMO sports resetting. The car is recorded as bought directly from the user, a one owner car.
The photographs show a carbon bonnet, a large carbon looking rear wing, red trim lines along the lower body, black multi spoke wheels with red rim stripes and yellow brake calipers. Inside, the dashboard top is covered in suede type trim, the steering wheel is also suede type, and a touchscreen sits above the climate controls. Front seats with red accents are visible through the windscreen. A carbon finish surrounds the gear selector in the centre console.
Japanese Auction Report Translation
The sheet gives the auction grade as 6 and the interior grade as A. It carries the service booklet with warranty for a new car, marked present and circled. Under points to note it lists the owner's manual, warranty booklet and intelligent key, and says the map SD card will follow at a later date. A spare key is not separately mentioned. The inspector's report section is blank, so there are no written comments on the engine, gearbox, leaks, rust, underbody, tyres or smell. Please treat these as not confirmed rather than clear.
The sheet shows a spare tyre circle on the diagram with no mark. The Domestic Prime Corner title appears as the auction section name.
Damage Diagram and Body Condition
The diagram carries one marking: a letter A at the front of the car, just above the front bumper on the drawing. It has no number. In auction notation A means a scratch, graded A1 small, A2 scratch, A3 large, but without a number the size is not stated. It may also be a printed front marker rather than a damage code. Either way, nothing else is marked: no dents, repair marks, replaced panels, rust or corrosion are shown.
The photographs show clean bodywork and bright paint at USS Yokohama, including the front bumper, carbon bonnet, rear wing and wheels, with no obvious damage visible. The photographs are not a substitute for the inspector's comments, and the blank report means a front bumper scratch cannot be ruled out. Overall this looks like a collector grade, near new example based on the sheet and photographs, with low use and a clean diagram.
Interior Condition
The interior grade is A. The photographs show a tidy cabin: the dashboard suede is intact, the red stitching is neat, the steering wheel looks unmarked and the centre console trim is clean. The rear seat shows no visible wear and has a central armrest with a cup holder, and a speaker housing is visible behind the seat. No smoke, odour, seat damage or headlining fault is recorded, though the inspector's comments are blank.
Japanese Auction Grades
Auction grades run from 1 to 6 for exterior and overall condition, with 6 the highest, and interior grades run from A (best) to D. This car has an overall grade of 6 and interior A, a strong combination for a car that has barely been used.
Model History
The R35 GT-R replaced the R34 Skyline GT-R generation and went on sale in Japan in late 2007 as a separate model, no longer called a Skyline. It used the VR38DETT 3.8 litre twin turbo V6, a rear mounted dual clutch gearbox and all wheel drive, and Nissan developed it into a long running supercar rival through more than a decade of updates. The Nismo version arrived in the 2010s with extra power, carbon parts and aero. The Special Edition adds the Stealth Grey paint, wheels and other changes, as seen on this car.
Why This Model Has Become Collectible
The Nissan GT-R Nismo is collectible because it is the high point of a car line enthusiasts have followed since the Skyline GT-R. It has a hand built engine, motorsport derived Nismo branding, a long production run that is ending and strong demand around the world. Low mileage, one owner cars with books and keys are limited, and the Nismo Special Edition in particular is a sought after specification. That does not guarantee any future value, but it explains why prices have stayed firm.
What To Look For When Buying This Model
The R35 dual clutch gearbox needs regular fluid services, so ask for any service records. The sheet shows the new car service booklet, which is a good start. Listen for rattles or clunks at low speed, as the transaxle makes mechanical noises, and check that the shifts under hard acceleration are crisp. Inspect the brake discs and pads, since this car is heavy, and the tyres for age as well as tread, since a low mileage car may still be on its original set. On this car, ask for the missing map SD card and confirm the dash camera, navigation and back camera work. Ask what the NISMO sports resetting involved and who carried it out. Also look carefully at the front bumper, where the unnumbered A sits on the diagram.
Why Import This Car From Japan
Japan produces many of the lowest mileage, best documented GT-Rs, and a one owner car like this one is a good example of that. A Japanese auction sheet gives an independent opinion on condition before you bid.

Auction Caution
This car was inspected before auction but is still a used vehicle. The auction sheet is an independent condition guide, not a mechanical warranty. The inspector's report is blank, the diagram shows only an unnumbered A at the front, and the map SD card is not with the car. Even a low mileage performance car such as this may need servicing, fluid changes or tyres after purchase.
